Personality

A cheerful man who enjoys a good story and has many to tell, Waylon is motivated to serve the people of High Rock and to please the divines and his nation, wishing to pay back and inspire onto others the kindness he received when he was rescued off the streets and joined the Order of the Dove.

Backstory

Born on the waters of the Illiac Bay while it rained, Waylon grew around the dockside slums of the large city of Wayrest, around a tight-knit community, aiding his mother Olive work a small apothecary where he got his introduction to herbalism.He found solace in the church when he was 15 after his mother’s passing, where he grew to adore Kynareth’s teachings and became closer to several Knights of Kynareth. When he was 17 he was welcomed to the Order of the Dove by Dame Lavender Malveaux, where he would become a knight for the people of High Rock.Waylon now travels around High Rock, seeking to honor Kynareth and the other divines by protecting those travelers who can't afford bodyguards and working with other knights or authorities to keep the roads safe.

The Order of the Dove

Sworn to protect the travelers across the many paths of High Rock, the Order of the Dove has served High Rock for 30 years.Kynareth is their main deity and the patron goddess who the 17 knights of the order aspire to be like, with their main goal to travel the roads of High Rock and protect them, whether it is working with the authorities or other knights, or acting as bodyguards for those who can't afford them.The order is located in the Southern districts of Wayrest near the city's docks, where a medium sized building that looks like a tavern stands with certain humility and lack of luxury, there Dame Oriandra Belleroche leads the order as her mother Lavender did, using the gift of oneiromancy mysteriously given to her.
